I’m still working on the draperies for the bedroom. I was hoping to get them done by the end of the week so that I could show you the room with the draperies on Friday. But I realized yesterday that it wouldn’t matter because somehow I miscalculated the number of curtain rings I needed for both the sheers and the draperies. I was four boxes short! I ordered those boxes yesterday, but they won’t even be here until Friday. So when I finish the draperies (hopefully today), I’ll move on to the next project, and I’ll show y’all the finished draperies at the beginning of next week.
In the meantime, I got the room cleaned up yesterday, and was really excited about the progress so far. So I thought I’d give you a quick look around at the room thus far. I’m well beyond the halfway point on this project, and it’s starting to really come together.
So here’s a quick tour of the room at this point…
Of course, it’s going to look quite different once I get the rest of the fabrics and soft furnishings in here. The headboard alone is going to make a huge difference. And the draperies are really going to bring some depth and texture to the windows and door. But overall, I’m so excited about how the room is turning out so far. It’s quite different from how it started out!
